Safety Clinic (incl. Pizza & live Music)

We care about your Safety! Therefore we are organizing a Safety Clinic on July 24’th at the beach in Wijk aan Zee. During this clinic we will guide you through the most common reasons for KiteSurf accidents and how to prevent them. Going next level – means knowing what you can and what you can’t do!

What can you expect? 

The clinic will be hosted by Loïc de Conick (Kitesurf instructor) in cooperation with the Rescue Brigade and the KNRM. It starts with an introduction to the main causes of Kite accidents (think of overestimating oneself, incompetence and fatigue). The role of weather conditions will be explained like – of course - the wind, but also the waterflow, role of temperature. We will teach you all about choosing the right kitespot, how to use safety equipment and the rules on the water. After the Clinic you know all the important things you need to maintain a great but safe experience in the water.

What’s next?

After the clinic there will be a moment to connect with fellow kiters during a drink and a bite at De HangOut. As you know from the Freeriders, we are always in for the good fun. We will have some pizza's and a beer accompanied by relax vibes and live music. Make sure you reserve your ticket upfront so we know whom to expect!
